Dr. John Ghazvinian

Executive Director of the Middle East Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ghazvinian is an academic, author, ​and former journalist, specializing in the history of US-Iran relations. His latest book, America and Iran: A History, 1720 to the Present (Knopf, 2021) — a comprehensive survey of the bilateral relationship, based on years of archival research in both countries — was named by the New York Times as one of “100 Notable Books of 2021”.

Lars Patrick Berg

Deputy of the European Parliament since 2019, and member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group. Berg was elected to the European Parliament in the 2019 European elections. As a member of the Identity and Democracy Group (ID), he served on the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), the Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI),. In May 2021, Berg announced his resignation from the AfD and the ID faction From July 2021 to January 2023, Berg was a member of the Liberal-Conservative Reformers party. Professor of Sociology and a member of the European Parliament representing Germany. Dr. Koester is affiliated with the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and is a member of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament. Dr. Koester serves on multiple committees, including the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, and the Subcommittee on Human Rights. He is also a member of the Delegation for Relations with Iran and the Delegation for Relations with the United States.

Sir David Hannay, Baron Hannay of Chiswick

Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom since 2001, member of the Lords International Relations Committee, Chair of the UN All-Party Parliamentary Group, a member of the Top Level Group for Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations from 1990 to 1995.
